Please refer to the Tower of Terror diagrams at the bottom of this page for a better understanding of the following descriptions.
The Elevators:
The elevators use seatbelts for restraints. They hold 21 people. Three rows of three and three rows of four. There are two elevators for each shaft and two load /unload. One is on the first floor and the other load/unload is on second/third floor. There are a load door and an unload door. The load door is straight in from the drop shaft and the unload door is straight in and to the left. One elevator is loading/unloading while the other is on the ride. When the elevator pulls into unload. The other elevator goes into the drop shaft.

The Mirrored Scene:
The mirrored scene is pretty simple. The "mirror" is glass that a projector projects an image on it. A video camera records you and a computer takes a picture of a empty elevator and compares it to the recored image of you. Then the computer turns the stuff that it sees isn't in the empty picture in to the ghostly pictures.

The Corridor Scene:
The elevator goes down from the mirrored scene to get to the corridor scene. The corridor scene itself is a forced perspective. It is about 4 feet high in back and about 8-10 feet high in front. There is a glass wall in the middle that a projector projects the ghost on.

The Drop:
The last and purpose of the ride: the drop. First of all it is not a drop. It forces you down. So from the corridor scene it forces you down two drops. Then up to the top. Then it drops to the bottom and boomeranges to the top. Then drops to the exit. Since it's not random like MGM's, its always the same.
